Celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8
Happy International Women’s Day! Today we are celebrating women — their accomplishments, their presence, and their contributions to our lives and to society. We are calling for our friends and community to uplift women, not just today, but all days.
We work with and alongside many incredible women in the Sea to Sky Corridor who are integral to the success of Work 2 Live:
The managers and supervisors at our supportive employers.
Those who provide essential supports such as mental health and food security.
The guides and instructors who help them to conquer mountains.
The youth workers who refer young people to our programs.
The volunteers who help Zero Ceiling reach our goals.
The Zero Ceiling staff who help the crew to be and do the best they can.
And you, who are reading this — our friends and supporters who help us do it all.
But most of all, the incredible young women in our programs. You are the best.
Choose to Challenge
A challenged world is an alert world. Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day.
We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world.From challenge comes change, so let’s all choose to challenge.
Today — and every day — we can make the world a better place for all women. Let’s accept the challenge.
