If you have already purchased your Family Dinner meal, thank you! But we know not everyone is around right now or can buy a meal box for themselves. However, there are still ways you can support the Family Dinner Fundraiser to help us continue our life-saving programs. And one of them costs nothing but time!
1. Gift a Family Dinner meal box to someone special. We will notify them and have it ready for collection on December 3rd. We came up with 5 ways to gift a box, which you can read on our blog. We’ll even wrap it for them, too!
2. Buy some raffle tickets. 1 for $10 or 3 for $25. We have some incredible prizes up for grabs, such as:
- a 5-Day Whistler Blackcomb EDGE Card
- a 5-Day Whistler Mountain Bike Park Pass
- a $100 Gift Card for Sushi Village
- a luxury stay at Nita Lake Lodge with a couple’s Swedish massage!
3. Purchase a meal box for our Work 2 Live crew! We have 10 youth and 4 graduates who would love a home-cooked 3-course meal. Get in touch if you want to donate a family dinner to one of our program participants.
4. Buy a meal box for someone in need. We are speaking with a few Whistler social services who have told us they would love a few boxes for their staff or clients. Let us know if you would like to buy a meal box for a community member in need and those who support them by sending us an email.
5. Visit our Family Dinner collection reception. On Friday, December 3rd from 4-6 we will be at the Whistler Conference Centre handing out the Family Dinner meal boxes. Stop by for a hot drink and to chat with us about what we’re up to! We’ll be drawing a door prize of a stay at Crystal Lodge Whistler.
