Summer may be coming to an end but there’s still plenty of time to enjoy Whistler’s trails before the snow starts to fall.

September 23rd, 2017 is the return of Whistler’s annual 11.5km trail run from Cheakamus to Brandywine Falls. The Brandywine Boogie, or just “the Boogie” as it’s known to locals (and its growing fan base), is organised by the Rotary Club of Whistler Millennium as a way to fundraise for Whistler’s many charity and non-profit groups. Each year 100% of the profits are donated to worthy causes and, in a fun new twist for 2017, the Boogie organisers are letting runners choose which organisation they’d like to donate to.

Zero Ceiling was honoured to be a recipient of a donation from the 2016 race and we’re delighted to say that we have been chosen, along with the Whistler Off-Road Cycling Association (WORCA) and the Rotary Youth Exchange, as one of the three charities racers can donate to in 2017.

Ahead of this year’s event, we’d like to give a huge thank you to everyone involved; all made possible by the wonderful Rotary Club volunteers who run the show, and generous prize donations from Whistler companies.

What your Brandywine Boogie entry fee will buy for a Zero Ceiling youth

For the price of the Brandywine Boogie entry fee ($55) we can provide mobile phone service or a bus pass for one of our youth in the Work2Live program. This helps them stay connected and make the most of life in Whistler. It is access to these little “every day” amenities that help our youth get to work on time, stay connected with new friends and mentors, and feel at home in a new place.
